First-year PhD student in the Systems Science program at Portland State University. My undergraduate education was in physics and math, and I have significant experience in computational social science and machine learning from working in the Data Science and Analytics group at Pacific Northwest National Lab. In my current research, I investigate non-normal temperature distributions and what impacts on changes in extreme events these distributions cause under climate change.

In my free time I enjoy gaming (video games, board games, card games, ...), swing dancing, taekwondo, and listening to music (mostly symphonic metal, as well as some pop and some classical).
