Work in mineral exploration with projects on three continents. Worked with GIS since before we were familiar with the acronym. Enjoy working with EDA on geochemical data and effectively visualizing the information content of the data. Mineral potential modelling. Don't get as much time to code as I used to. Mostly in R now, used to be more C/C++, Java, Fortran (gasp!) and various others. Mostly on Mac OS X now. QGIS is getting me so I have no reason to reboot into Windows any more!

I also build Arduino and compatible stuff as sensors / data collectors and also autonomous mobile robots. Coach youth soccer. Involved with air cadets for many years.
