I'm a a web developer, working these days mostly in Ruby and Rails. I'd rather write 100 lines of SQL than 10 lines of Javascript. I work at Hewlett-Packard on printing-related tools.

I'm also a science fiction writer, writing about the emergence of artificial intelligence, how man and machine can coexist, and posthumanism. My books include (Avogadro Corp, A.I. Apocalypse, and The Last Firewall).

I'm also personally interested in generated print output programmatically, as my novels are created using HTML+CSS and PrinceXML.
