I am most interested in computer science, mathematical algorithms, statistics, AI, approximate dynamic programming, and writing robust and scalable software. I also have interests in scientific computing, numerical optimization, and control systems. I still have a tons to learn but I have fun with the process.
What am I up to now?
As of now, I am a graduate student in Computer Science with Jeff Erickson as my advisor and Bob Haber as my co-advisor. My current research falls under constrained adaptive computational geometry up through 4-D, where the constraints are tied to properties of hyperbolic PDEs.
Prior to August 2017, I worked at Raytheon Missile Systems in Guidance, Navigation, and Controls. At Raytheon I worked in areas of AI, Optimal Control, Dynamic Programming, Differential Game Theory, simulation modeling, High Performance Computing, software, and more.
Just for Fun
Outside of work, I spend time playing with my dog, reading, learning, and watching movies. I also enjoy going on the occasional adventure, with some of my favorites going scuba diving in the Great Barrier Reef and doing class 4 and 5 rapids out in West Virginia twice!
