I was 5 years old when my father came home with our first computer. An Apple IIe. It came with a book on programming in BASIC, which I devoured. I would type simple programs and run them. Computers attracted me for many reasons. The ability to focus 100% on the task, the quiet, alone time.

But most of all, computers allowed me to be 100% in control of the outcome. A computer only does what you tell it to, and if it does what you weren't expecting, the only person to blame is yourself. Your understanding of the problem is off, your view of the logic flow needs to change. Whatever is wrong, the only person you have to blame is yourself.

Now I'm working full time as a Web Developer. I am an expert in PHP, and I have a working knowledge of C++, Java, Python, Perl, most of the .NET suite, and JavaScript. I'm a fast learner, and love to try out new languages.
