"Old programmers never die - they just jump to a new address"

The fortune cookie I once got from a UNIX system applies well now. Going towards my pension and so working less, I have time available to add my experience to everyone on Stack Exchange, and get answers to my own questions.

I studied Informatics (CS) at University of Amsterdam in the '90-ies and then became a developer. And then a consultant and then a manager, and then... And now I'm here (the new address).
