Although I have no formal training in development, I've been programming since I was eight years old when I wrote my first game in BASIC on an Atari 800. I attended the Art Institute of Seattle in one of their first groups of multi-media/animation students in 1995. One of my teachers gave me an internship that turned into my first job creating interactive CD-ROMS using Macromedia Director. Since that time I've transitioned over to being a web developer. My web development skills are all self taught over the course of my career. I have learned everything from Perl, PHP, Java, ASP, ASP.NET (VB and C#), ADO, LINQ, MSSQL, MySql, Postgres, HTML, XHTML, DHTML, Javascript, Flash...anyway, you get the picture. I've used just about every web technology that has come and gone in the last 20 years, even FutureSplash.
