Currently I work as a Server system architect at a mobile game company developing server-side (Spring/JPA/Hibernate/binary protocols, some Linux/Unix-server administration and basic database administration). On occasion, I've also dabbled with engine technology and games.

I got my Bachelor's Degree in Software Engineering from Jyväskylä University of Applied Sciences (which is basically a fancy name for a polytechnic institute ;P).

I got interested in programming at a fairly young age, back in the early 90's, when I got an old Commodore 64 from a relative and discovered BASIC. After a few years I moved into the PC-world, and used languages like QBasic and Turbo Pascal. Since then, I've studied many languages, including but not limited to C/C++, Java and a bunch of different Basics (mostly related to game programming).
