I am an IBM System i Administrator with over 15 years experience with IBM Systems (AS400, iSeries, System i), V4R1 thru V6R1; 20 years experience with Windows-based PCs, and some AIX experience. I am a "newbie" (just a few weeks) regarding "Ubuntu"; but, from what I've seen so far, am extremely impressed with its ease of use and installation, its power, and security. Thanx to Eli the Computer Guy, I have learned a ton already about how Ubuntu works, and much of the basics; and am looking forward to learning more, and becoming a Ubuntu Subject Matter Expert.
