Atlanta, GA, United States

I am currently a Software Engineer at Mitsubishi Electric. I have experience in hardware (diagnostics and replacement), and software (installation and coding). I have been working as a Salesforce focused developer for six months and have 24 Trailhead badges (or at least I should when they add that last one from the Lightning Now Tour this past month to it).

I have written in C#, ASP.NET, Java, C++, Bash, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript. My Bachelor's degree (Suma Cum Laude) is in Systems Analysis and Integration and during the journey to achieve that degree I learned significant concepts about coding logic as well as having classes in several coding languages, gathering requirements, business process redesign, and implementation.

I am very lucky to have a position at a company that values my skills, encourages me to use the things I have learned, sends me to learning events such as TrailheaDX and Lightning Now, and surrounds me by a significant amount of very nice, friendly, positive people!

I am hoping to get certified as a Certified Salesforce Admin and Certified Salesforce Developer by the end of the year 2017. I certainly play both roles in my company environment! I hope to get certified as an Certified Salesforce Technical Architect in the next few years!

You can find out more specifics about my experience if you view my LinkedIn profile at:

BTW, the display name LHYWebDesigner stems from a position I held at my family's motorcycle dealership. After 35 years, mom and dad were ready to sell and retire. I had seen enough trials and tribulations over those 35 years to know I didn't want to take over the business. We are all out of it now. Even happier now that I love my current job!

If you haven't heard it, listen to at least a few moments of this brand new Dirty Heads song, called Vacation..... This is the way I finally feel every day!!!! I hope that if you don't already, someday you will!
