I first started programming as a kid, on a Commodore VIC-20 and a C64. For a while, it was mostly HTML, PHP, and CSS, with a smattering of JavaScript, C, C++, and Bash scripting. These days, for work, it's mainly Perl and JavaScript.
In college, I focused primarily on electronic and computer systems design, troubleshooting and repair; microprocessor architecture; and low-level programming, including assembly language and machine code. I have an A.S. degree in Electronics and Computer Engineering Technology (ECET). Other subjects included LAMP stack administration, PHP programming, Subversion, Windows Network Administration, Cisco Networking, and some InfoSec.
