comment How to verify if a variable is Enum?
Thanks for answer. This seems good. It seems to me that Object.keys() lists out all properties (including methods) of a class. This checks if the parameter has name as property. This is not an unique identifier. I wonder is it because this class does not have an constructor, so we cannot retrieve the actual name of this class (BorderStyle or Enum). Just brainstorm, should I check if OR ( all the possible values of SpreadsheetApp.BorderStyle ) ?

If Enum is not JS native type, then it is an user-defined type. Why it is an object, but not an instance of Object?

I wish to understand JS and have it making senses. But to be target orientated first, how to verify if a parameter is an Enum?

Yeah I have read that Question also. But it does not talk about Enum. And it does not have the contradiction that object is not an instance of Object.

But it is weird. Something is an object, but it is not an instance of Object.

comment How to return #N/A from Google Sheet App Script?
Yes. You are right. Using setFormula('=NA()') can achieve this. But in my case it is a bit difficult to change it to the setFormula() way. My function takes a Range (one cell, or an array, or a 2D array), check the values inside, and return an array of the same number of items. For example, it takes A1:D4. Check the values, some TRUE and some FALSE. Then return an 4x4 array. If E1=myFunc(A1:D4), it fills E1:H4. If D3 and D4 are blanks, I want H3 and H4 get the values #N/A.

comment Is plain dm-crypt equal to headerless LUKS?
As far as I studied from the archlinux wiki pages recently, I think the answer is YES := Plain dm-crypt equals to headerless LUKS. In Plain mode, it uses CBC and allows ESSIV also (but I do not know where it stores the IV, we need to specify it everytime when open?). So, given that we can configure both keys to the same value, the cipher text (the encrypted data) should be the same. Thus the encrypted bits (of the data-only) stored in the hard drive should be the same.

comment Defence Against Keyboard Keylogger
Hey guys. I think we should exclude hardware destruction here. What we concern is the Info Sec, thus the Data Sec, which means to ensure no Data is leak. OP has hard disk encryption. And HDD encryption should prevent Data leak even if the HDD is lost physically. I come across this page becuase archlinux mentioned that HDD Encryption can be used against keyloggers or Trojan horses, and I am in doubt. Why they say so?
