Max spent 3 years as a level 1 HP Unix Engineer in the HP Enterprise Solution Center supporting Servers and Storage. Notably during the SGX data center relocation in 2006, he played a crucial role as a project engineer in rack planning and movement for both the DR and production sites. He spent the following 3 years in a Merchant Bank as a Relationship Manager focusing on origination and acquisitions. During this time, he planned and hosted a Banking Fraud seminar for IT professionals in Cambodia, on behalf of the ASEAN Bankers Association.

After this stint in the banking industry, Max joined the award winning start-up Xmi Pte Ltd as the Ecommerce Manager. Xmi is the inventor of the X-mini brand of portable speakers. He launched 3 major successful projects: 1) the Company’s ERP system using SAP B1, 2) established the online business and launch of a multi-currency online store, and 3) established the Return Merchandise Authorisation for customers with faulty products.
