Working for more then 15 years in development, made me a generalist. I've touched most of the technologies out there.

A good description would be like a taxi driver. I can drive the car and bring people fast and good, with service to places. Making them win time, money and energy. I have a good knowledge on how to handle the car en deciding what road to take and what car to drive.

But I do not know in details how the engines or transmissions work. When there a problem, I will have to find a solution or find help (Car manual, or worst case go to the garage). I'm not a car manufacturer. They mostly know a lot about their car, but not about the other types of cars. They would even suggest their race car is the best to drive in the desert.
