comment Chord Practice Right Hand
I agree with b3ko. This is a good idea. Another method would be to notate this liste by yourself. Thinking, playing, touching, listening, writing, reflecting: = theory and practice!

comment Directionality in the Augmented Triad
The question is interesting enough to be edited in that way that it can be answered statistical or regarding at some rules of theorists: resolution of a aug. triade? and the answer will be quite simple: if it has the function of a V aug. it can be the dominant of a minor tonic or (III #5 = > V #5) or serve as a (secondary) dominant of any major chord ....

comment Why is this bar in musescore the wrong length
Why does this rest need any accent at all? I think this is the problem that Carl is pointing out: the tenuto dash means that this rest is longer than 100% and this may hinder you to notate another additional note.

comment Where to get the chords of a song in roman numerals instead of regular chords
to find the degrees in romain numbers you only have to write down the circle of fifths in a circle or in a row and on another sheet the romain numbers. then it's quite easy to find the dominant and the subdominant, the relative chords and the secondary dominants. You can write the 2 lists in a row or in 2 circles (movable like a watch) .musicnotes.com/now/tips/circle-of-fifths-guide

comment How do certain chords get such prominent names?
is this musical friend playing an instrument? could be he is referring to the playabilty of a certain key? I could imagine that a player of a Bb -brass instrument would say: my favorite key is F-major, a recorder player may think G-major is his favorite key and a guitarist (beginner) could prefer D-major, e.g. ...

comment Possibility to correct pitch from digital versions of records with the hole not centered
When I started to digitize my LP's I had the same problem and also other effects like scratches etc. After some trials I said: forget it! and was looking for mp3 copies on youtube and other sources. you can find almost everything and more and save a lot of time!

An interesting point. I haven't heard about it before. As you say this seems to be a common interpretation. I can't tell you the original source but I've found an interpretation that is quoting your assumption. So your memory is quite correct. (s. my answer below.)

Good input, good question. I'll be interested in answers of others and would like to give my own. But I'll need about half a year to listen to the 3 composers as I don't know them well and never compared their work.
