Hello! My name is Lily and I'm a student of linguistics & religious studies at Georgia State University. I speak English, French, Icelandic, and Punjabi, in order of descending proficiency. I have an interest in polysynthesis (most especially the Inuit languages), issues at the morphology-syntax interface, and language processing. I'm trained in generative Chomskyan syntax, but I'm drawn more towards approaches in line with the PGCH which view performance and processing as integral parts of grammatical theory. In religious studies, I have a research focus on Sikhism and I do work on the linguistics of Sikh sacred verse and on language ideologies in religious contexts.
