I'm a molecular biologist by training, and make my living teaching at a community college in south-central PA.

During my post-doctoral studies I began using Mathematica to analyze microarray experiments involving thousands of gene expression values. Today, I am primarily a recreational user of Mathematica, but I do occassionally use it for adding content to the courses I teach.
