Taking up a wide-span of roles across multiple disciplines, Robert is able to add distinctive value to his work projects and ideas by bringing together his cross-industrial experiences and varied-specialty viewpoints.
A software developer by training since 2003, Robert has briefly dabbled with roles as a Web Frontend Developer, Full-Stack Developer, a Designer, and Product Manager.
Alongside his youth, Robert has also earned an extensive collection of experiences in planning and executing mass-scale marathon events like Adidas Sundown Marathon (Singapore) to institutional-wide camps with up to a 1,200 capacity.
After savoring a taste of Entrepreneurship-validation in 2010, where his team was the only one being offered a S$200,000 no-frills deal to validate their “BucketSocial” idea, he was unexpectedly hooked to start his own business someday.
In 2012, Robert took a leap of faith, cleared his personal bank balance of S$15,000, bought some new photography equipment and started his very first business, ROBERRYARTS STUDIOS. His photography-business journey has given him many unexpected surprises as well as a good share of failures.
Robert is a double-majors graduate of Singapore Management University (SMU) with a Bachelor of Science in Information System Management and Strategic Management (2nd Major).
On his long breaks, Robert morphs into an adventurous traveler who loves to explore new territories abroad with his camera, eat street foods, and befriend the occasional stranger. While in his spare time, Robert can be found sharing his time teaching skating to his peers or sharing a heartfelt conversation about life.
