Mission/Values
Our mission is simple: “Make the Internet a better place to get expert answers to your questions.” We've already done that for programming questions (with Stack Overflow), but there are a million other fields that need a similar community. We've already got amazing sites for programmers, system administrators, gamers, photographers and tons of others. We even help people find amazing new jobs, backed by the credibility that they've built on our system.
We build things
Stack Exchange is a network of different Q&A sites on topics from computer programming and video gaming to English grammar/usage and parenting. We’ve broken into Quantcast’s list of the top 50 most popular U.S. websites, and we’re not stopping there.
