comment Is it possible to draw a single TabPage aligned right and the rest left?
You can set the alignment using TabControl.Alignment = TabAlignment.Right; Are you referring to a panel of tabs where you want some aligned to the left and some to the right?

Try retrieving the value using column name so you're sure it's getting exactly what you want.

comment How to wait and get text from another form in multiple backgroundworker
Yes, that would be the "just start a new worker when you have something that needs to be chewed on" part. @Hans Passant is saying you should create a new backgroundworker and run it when you need the actual logic performed.

You need to implement a backgroundworker and use reportprogress.

@PhillHealey that makes it very simple, see the edit. What @DavidG was saying earlier with the change from \` to ` is all you needed.

Do you just want the href attributes? Or the text contents including those attributes?

Are you using ShowDialog() or ShowDialog(IWin32Window owner)?

Define "many other applications" and "for the first 2". First two what, exactly? The FolderBrowserDialog should open in front of what's calling it. If you have "other appliacations" open at the same time then you probably need to reevaluate your process flow.

comment Get li nodes but not li in child ul
@DavidG I'm in agreement with you that /li instead of //li should be what he uses, don't get me wrong. It just seems like from his response he doesn't want the entire node.

comment Get li nodes but not li in child ul
They're different, yes, but he doesn't want the <li> node which is a child of <ul> returned at all, and //li will return him that. Technically, /li should be what he wants, but since he's still seeing the children of that /li node, it like he was wanting to avoid it altogether from his response to you.

Good catch- I was simply looking for the root of the exception he was seeing, I'll update the answer.

/li and //li will give you the same results, as Phill Healey is seeing. I'm not sure how @DavidG is seeing it "work", but they will both give you all <li> nodes under the <ul> root, which inclues the one you don't want. Is iterating through this list and skipping over the child <ul> node not an option for you?
