Date change when converting from XMLGregorianCalendar to Calendar @jimmcnamara Thanks Jim. If that's the case, then I'm honestly not too sure of where to go from here, I guess I could report it. |

Date change when converting from XMLGregorianCalendar to Calendar @jimmcnamara I'm not saying anything went away, I just pointed out that any date before the Gregorian time is being changed. My exact example is pretty obvious there in the program code, the date 0001-01-01 is being changed to 0001-01-03, and it should not be.

XPATH ignore <br> within <div> Well the snippet you supplied isn't valid xml, but going on if you replaced those floating <br> nodes with <br/>, are you wanting the <div> node in particular or just the children underneath? You can't write an xpath to grab a node and filter it's children at the same time but there are ways around it.

Numeric or value error when attempting to use max VARCHAR2 size @Brian Would that change the efficiency at all, though? If I'm understanding you correctly, you're saying to try creating the concatenated field via VARCHAR2 and then converting to type CLOB before returning? |

Numeric or value error when attempting to use max VARCHAR2 size @loki No, just in a select statement. Not sure how that would change it though, referring to Brian's comment. |

Numeric or value error when attempting to use max VARCHAR2 size @Brian Thanks, I think that's what was confusing me. So basically you can only use the max length for a VARCHAR2 field when working in memory? There's no way around this other than switching to clob? |

Concatenation of CLOB datatypes in a LOOP in PL/SQL Rene, quick question about this line: dbms_lob.createtemporary(lob_loc => l_lob, cache => true, dur => dbms_lob.call); Is that lob_loc => l_lob supposed to be lob_loc => l_clob ?

Lowercase part of a string with XPath regular expression BUT you didn't mention the possibility of multiple substrings in your question. "might contain a substring" |
