As I write in the question - I have tried arrayformula, but the underlying problem - the formula not stretching - still occurs. A sample spreadsheet is here: bit.ly/10rlsMI. Sheet1 contains form data, Sheet2 imports them using arrayformula.

True, but as I said, even if there's a formula in the white column, it is not applied to new rows as their are inserted rather than data being filled into an existing row.

comment Unroasted coffee beans in La Paz, Bolivia
Oh I checked almost every stand at Villa Fatima markets, also all the markets around San Francisco plaza... nada. They even laughed at me frequently.

comment Generating dozens of graphs
Just realized this is pretty much what I am aiming for: people.ischool.berkeley.edu/~hal/Books/im-outline.pdf (for example page 21 contains a nice figure - curves, lines, labels, dotted lines, ...)

@Seamus, I like the idea, but what about the labels within the plot? I feel like PGF has an edge in this regard, but is a bit more cumbersome to use. @Jake, I'll give it a shot, thanks for the standalone tip. Space-limited labeling was a stupid way of saying there are sometimes a lot of curves and it's necessary to fit labels manually (e.g. using coordinates) as automatic placement may fail.

comment Bachelor thesis or Bachelor's thesis
Inconsistency is the problem. I have seen both versions come up, so it's not about being correct with respect to the university, it's more a question of my curiosity. As BA/BSc is concerned, we do not distinguish between them, we're simply bachelors. I read through some style guides, but none of them address theses specifically, so I was not sure about its application based on "bachelor's degree" and other uses. So your implication may or may not be correct. Still it's the closest I got to a backed answer.
