My main interests are web development and education. I have had experience both with server-side development and with front-end development. I have worked with several web technologies - from Java Servlets and JSP, to PHP, to Perl CGI, Mason, Asp.NET and ExtJS - but pride myself on a thorough understanding of HTML, CSS and JavaScript.
Recently I have discovered a passion for web accessibility and progressive enhancement, and feel they can (and should) be used as concrete quality metrics in web development projects.
I (somewhat unusually) enjoy writing, updating and editing documentation to drive business vision vertically, trying to ensure the developers I work with stay focused on the customer's needs. Likewise, I am very passionate about ensuring that code and documentation are both easily understood by future developers - especially new hires.
