I have been game programming since the Atari 400 (eg. The Troglodyte), but not professionally until recently.
My passion for good user interface design led me to create the original tiled version of NetHack (to the consternation of many ASCII traditionalists). That lead rather circuitously to a career in GUI development.
I have now returned to game development as a full-time hobby masquerading as a job.
Art has always fascinated me, though my manual abilities in the visual arts are weak. Computer generated art, be it by raytracing, 3D modelling, or games themselves, is an artistic outlet that suits me.
