I am a hands-on technical leader with business savvy. In my career I have been a (highly technical) product manager, project manager, Quality Engineer, Engineering Manager, Engineering Directory, developer, architect, 'DevOps' person, etc.
In the last 10 years I have specialized in taking code from check-in out to customer deployment and managing it there.
I am interested in testing of all flavors, continuous build and deployment, the full range of development/developer tools, infrastructure as code (Chef and it brethren), breaking down walls between developers, quality, operations, and customers (i.e. DevOps).
I am comfortable writing C (my first language), enjoy writing Ruby, have reading literacy in Python, and can usually find my way through most programming languages and systems with a little effort and focus.
