The word "Meta" itself might be turning users off. It doesn't even make sense. It's not an English word. It's not even clear how to pronounce it (didn't Jeff and Joel argue about it on the podcast?). Technical users might be able to infer its meaning from "metadata" and its kin, but remember we have a huge and growing number of non-technical users.
