How do I get my own TimeZone in ruby? oh, i just looked up, it returns the first one: "If it is a numeric value it is either the hour offset, or the second offset, of the timezone to find. (The first one with that offset will be returned.)" api.rubyonrails.org/classes/ActiveSupport/… - so I guess this wouldn't be reliable. |

How do I get my own TimeZone in ruby? Interesting approach, I wonder what happens if when there are multiple timezones with the same GMT offset? |

How do I get my own TimeZone in ruby? It may, is there an API that I can pass Time.now.gmt_offset + Time.now.zone in order to get a TimeZone name I can pass to config.time_zone or TZInfo::Timezone.get? |

How do I get my own TimeZone in ruby? It doesn't. It returns a 3 letter code like CDT, which, for example, can mean Central Daylight Time (USA) OR Central Daylight Time (Australia). So you can't pass it into config.time_zone or use it as a basis for converting timezones using TZInfo. |

SQL Server 2008 Running Procs: How to get the xp_cmdshell items? doh, almost! The EventInfo is actually the "EXEC usp_blah" of the parent stored proc that calls xp_cmdshell. |

Unable to step into stored procedure inside stored procedure - SQL debugging using VS2010 and SQL Server i forgot to reply to this, but i was able to connect to a local 2005 instance and it stepped through inner procs just fine. so, something strange was happening, though i haven't resolved it. |
