comment Google Fit and RunKeeper
@AlE. I asked here because I thought that the answer may come in the form of some setting on the RunKeeper web app.

comment Is using static methods to access an API a bad idea?
Thanks for that reassurance. I agree, that method is super easy to test. Counter to that, I've read arguments about problems when other static methods that call getWithSuccess:failure can't (easily?) inject an alternative implementation of getWithSuccess:failure.

comment Better way of incrementing build number?
The shell scripts linked to by @Alix are now quite different to the ones posted here. To increment the build number only when doing an archive build you can use a gist I have made, very much based on Alix's scripts above, here: gist.github.com/mattpotts/abcffea6d08ad45739ef

comment PHP web apps are to Laravel, as Objective-C iPhone apps are to.. what?
Yes, they're the frameworks that are part of the Cocoa ecosystem. They don't quite seem to have the relationship that exists between PHP and Laravel though. I suppose what I'm seeking out is something that provides the same starting point of how to structure your application. Perhaps the wide scope of what an iOS app can do prevents that same kind of relationship from being applicable.
