comment Producer/Consumer threads using a Queue
It's worth noting that if the 'consumer' process can fail in such a way that the data needs to be reprocessed, it is worthwhile to introduce a BlockingQueue so that the consumer in an error state can throw the data back on the queue for other consumers to reprocess.

comment How can I maintain referential integrity between two google spreadsheets?
@Tim The issues I ran into (as I recall, it was a fair while ago) is that you can't do any kind of data manipulation in fusion tables. I also asked about using fusion tables as a replacement for ms access and heard crickets, so wasn't sure I should head down that unsupported path: developers.google.com/fusiontables/groups/…

comment Google Docs Spreadsheet: formula for getting current revision/version
Ah. I don't know why exactly you need to list revisions as a function called by =, but if you have some flexibility, you could work around this by having one cell that is monitored, and when it changes (using an onedit listener) you could run your script and update a range with a list of revisions. Or you could export this script as a webapp and use importxml to import the value. Webapps don't operating under the same restrictions as spreadsheet custom functions.

Do you know of any open source scripts that illustrate this? I have no desire to reinvent the wheel.

@Rom1 I'm trying to avoid writing custom code, but that may be required.

@br1ckb0t different parts of the organization are responsible for different spreadsheets, and perhaps have sensitive data. Even if I could merge them into one spreadsheet with different sheets, how would that solve the insert or delete scenarios?

Right. I used a hook to automatically install the needed plugins: devgirl.org/2013/11/12/…

comment Best Practice for customizing Cordova Xcode project
You can do some xcode building from the command line. See stackoverflow.com/questions/2664885/… Unless you can do that build phase script from the command line, you're locked into the IDE, so I'd investigate that before writing any hooks. (I think a hook is the right place to do this in cordova cli.)

Is the custom build phase script an xcode IDE specific thing, or can it be run from the command line?
