I am a geo*hacker living in Minneapolis, MN. Originally from New England, I moved to the Midwest after completing my B.A. in Geology from Smith College, where I started accumulating knowledge and skills relating to GIS. I suffered through a seven-month internship on my arrival here then managed to land a fairly sweet gig as the GIS Specialist for the Metropolitan Airports Commission. Here I bike to work, make maps and fight for good data visualization, leverage PostgreSQL and PostGIS for analysis, and code in Python, PHP and Bash.
