comment What are some time tested passive income streams?
@IntegrityFirst You can 'think' that - but all my years of experience indicate otherwise. Why would a management company take on all that work for no money? And even if I could 'sell' or 'negotiate' a deal like you propose - I would be stupid to think that a company would do a good job for 5% of the gross. that is unrealistic.

comment What are some of the necessary job positions in an app development company?
If you don't know then you don't need to hire someone. If you have no budget and no work for a person to do why are you asking about hiring?

comment How to treat innovation at startups?
Are you sure it is good for startups to innovate across the board? I think it is far too risky to push innovation as central to startups. Innovation on one or two primary concepts is fine, but to innovate on everything is not my idea of a path to success

comment Why do Reddit, Craigslist etc. not develop their own mobile app?
@tepples, so you are saying that a startup has enough in common with Reddit and craigslist that an answer to this question would be useful for startups? Nevermind that unless you hear from those companies that this is pure speculation and a discussion... Again, what does this have to do with startups? A better question would be: "Should a startup write its own mobile app?" and give details about the startup, the domain it is in, etc. Asking what google, MS, reddit, craigslist does is useless

comment How to ask questions without giving too much details about the idea?
@blunders - I am providing the consensus that was repeated over and over in the previous Q&A site as well as untold posts from incubator management and VC folks. This is nothing new and has no other meaning.
