comment How to treat innovation at startups?
Are you sure it is good for startups to innovate across the board? I think it is far too risky to push innovation as central to startups. Innovation on one or two primary concepts is fine, but to innovate on everything is not my idea of a path to success

comment Why do Reddit, Craigslist etc. not develop their own mobile app?
@tepples, so you are saying that a startup has enough in common with Reddit and craigslist that an answer to this question would be useful for startups? Nevermind that unless you hear from those companies that this is pure speculation and a discussion... Again, what does this have to do with startups? A better question would be: "Should a startup write its own mobile app?" and give details about the startup, the domain it is in, etc. Asking what google, MS, reddit, craigslist does is useless

comment How to ask questions without giving too much details about the idea?
@blunders - I am providing the consensus that was repeated over and over in the previous Q&A site as well as untold posts from incubator management and VC folks. This is nothing new and has no other meaning.

comment Parting ways with the founder pre-launch
It sounds like the friendship is already doomed. That's not a good perspective to base a solution on. 2 months of work so far? that is all? There is no company? It doesn't sound like there is anything of value anyway.

Your assertion is severely biased

comment What determines entrepreneurial success?
"C corporation, not sole proprietorship" - these are not the exclusive choices... these are also not causal - they are at best correlated

comment What determines entrepreneurial success?
For example - citing "graduate degrees" is appalling. There is a clear bias from the education-driven studies. The payback for graduate degrees is increasingly dubious.

This is not a good answer. For all of those posted items I can find a number of successful businesses to counter the claim.

comment How can I migrate my previous questions back into the site?
"Full of junk"? That's a bit harsh. I would disagree - there was a lot of good content on it, but, as I expect to happen with this site, it will reach a point where very few NEW valid questions will be asked and it will plateau... I don't think the site was closed for the reason(s) you think it was closed.
