For anyone else having problems connecting the above syntax doesn't work on the latest version - instead use $filename = "/path/to/database.mdb"; $pdo = new PDO("odbc:DRIVER={Easysoft ODBC-ACCESS};MDBFILE={$filename};"); note that DRIVER and MDBFILE are both block caps, and DBQ is now MDBFILE
