comment Bypassing TSQL CONTAINS filtering
I checked the execution plan, and it clearly shows that when @search is 'all' - there is no fulltext search in the plan (otherwise it is there)

Why i dont want a separate select for the case when @search is 'all' is because i have this piece inside a JOIN of several fulll-text subqueries. so if i split them all - there will be too many possible combinations ( N^2, for 3 joined subquries gives 9 execution branches )

isn't mssql query optimizer capable of eliminating unnecessary tests after the well-defined TRUE OR?

The condition when i want all rows returned is when the user has not specified any search string. And when the serch string is specified - i want the result set filtered by CONTAINS

What is the right pattern to 1) take jpeg file 2) sequentially apply a number of transforms to it 3) save it ? Sounds simple...

comment .net Drawing.Graphics.FromImage() returns blank black image
b.Save(...) does save image data, but transforms do not apply. It can be easily rescaled by using b=new Bitmap(original, newWidth, newHeight) BUT i actually need to make a series of transforms to original image, including rescale, crop and rotate, so trying to do it by means of Graphics, and render the final result into a bitmap. Am i misunderstanding the Graphics object?
