comment When Scan Credit Card option is available on iOS8 Safari?
@MarkSteggles I think that depends on the capabilities of the browser and/or 3rd party auto-fill plugin.

comment Change a column type from Date to DateTime during ROR migration
This is actually a very prudent answer considering there's no production data yet. For those worrying about other team members, that's what rake db:migrate:reset is for.

comment How do I add some inserts in rails migration?
@AliArslan You clearly aren't understanding the underlying notion of migrations. If you're running through the migrations, of course the schema is going to match the expected schema at the time the migration is being run; otherwise, the migration wouldn't need to run.

comment What are the differences between Chosen and Select2?
A agree that selectize is the best of the three, but whether a project's source files are in coffeescript, sass, less, etc should have little bearing on the decision to chose such a project. Heck, at least you're guaranteed that the resulting/compiled javascript and css will have perfect syntax and avoid common pitfalls that arise when writing js or css directly.

comment Rails: how to show user's "last seen at" time?
There's no point in using a session variable for the throttling here. Just use the current_user.last_seen_at value directly.

comment Rails STI override model_name in parent class for all subclasses
This is not very revealing, because this round-about way of determining the parent's model_name doesn't convey that you're doing it to support inheritance. It also isn't very robust, because it means you can't easily override model_name in the parent class.
