Core Animation Framework Update Yes, I agree and I don't want ridiculous, I just was using Stacks as an example of what I was talking about. I like subdued effects. If you play around with OSX you see things like the Finder appears from the MacintoshHD icon and when you close returns to it. In Apple Keynote, for example, when you pick a template from the wizard window, your selection expands into the actual Keynote window directly from the icon you just selected. |

Core Animation Framework Update If you look in the video below, the icons animate smoothly from a shuffle. This however, is not limited to the dock and can be done anywhere in OSX ( the Finder, iTunes etc). The Stack uses Core Animation. Will Ubuntu ever have something like that across the whole operating system? youtube.com/watch?v=64mr_doqvcc Core Animation: youtube.com/watch?v=aM_8vhVE6jA Thanks for your quick reply Marco. |

Core Animation Framework Update What I am asking is if there will ever be a unified way to enable animations in every aspect of the operating system. Stacks was just an example. |

Core Animation Framework Update I'm sorry if it's vague that's about as straightforward as I can ask it. I ping pong around since I was addressing the bulk of the post to address what was said in my other post on the matter. Let me try again. |
