I started out as a professional developer using Delphi and Oracle in a Win32 client-server environment for a manufacturing company. Now I'm working for Blackbaud, Inc. on enterprise applications that are written in VB.NET and C# against a SQL Server 2008 back-end using a SOA architecture. I'm also using jQuery and ASP.NET to deliver solutions against that platform.
