I am a retired Oracle DBA, which I managed for 14 years on UNIX platforms. I have a total of 34 years corporate IT experience on IBM mainframe systems, UNIX systems, and application programming.

As of early 2012, I have been using Ubuntu for about three years. I also love playing/testing with other distros, such as Sabayon, Arch Linux, and Siduction.
