Self-taught software engineer. Started 30 years ago in school with BBC micros and the 380z. Quickly got into assembly language and machine code, then ended up dabbling in many languages/areas over the years.

Now working as a c++ real-time systems engineer with desktop application support, and web (PHP/SQL/JS) development on the side, whilst home-studying for a computing degree with the OU.

I'm also battling my way through learning Python web development. Many new challenges, but lots of fun.
