How can I move the home directory to a separate partition? WARNING: The link in "permission fix" currently bounces one off to two different websites, the last of which prompts one to install Adobe Flash in a very dodgy looking installer dialog replica. |

How can I set the compatibility mode for an executable from the command line? "Such a feature does not exist" is factual incorrect. |

Differnt PNG encoding? Paul - I did all the usual basic troubleshooting. Cached page refresh, non-cache refresh, browser restart - No help. @Oliver Salzburg - Not sure how this is relevant... I cannot type/c&p anything into the box that is currently filled in the screenshot provided. Only able to fill the box with anything through use of the file browse dialog, precluding pebkac in the scenario. I uploaded image seperately just in case it was helpful (for nhinkle's purpose, or to aid logs inspection to figure out why this happened, and if there is any preventative measures that could be implemented for future). |

Finding DOM node index @some - NP. It wasn't clear to me, given the start of the sentence was talking about the original question. Thanks for clarifying :) |

Differnt PNG encoding? Thanks nhinkle. Guess, as you seemly also proved, what @Daniel Beck stated seems very likely |

Windows 7 in Compatibility Mode options on Windows 7 Enterprise I had wondered this, but I noticed that the option to pick Service Packs of you running version of Windows doesn't exist in Windows XP patched to SP3, nor Vista patched to SP2 (Being the two versions of Windows readily available to me. Would be great if this line mentioned "(No SP)", or similar, to make this more clear (Does anyone know if this is a registry setting / easy hack?). Curious also that there would be programs designed only for Build 7600. Marking as answer until such time (if ever) someone else has another theory that pans out. |

copy efs encrypted file to another computer using old pc password If all files ("All other drive") are giving an Access Denied message, I would wonder if you need to start by Taking Ownership of the folders/files and then Giving your new account (at least) Read/Traversal rights on the folders/files. |

ATX power: 20 or 24 pins? @Moab - Have examined both 20 pin and 24 pin ATX connectors and as djechelon answered, the extra pins 11+12+23+24 (From a pin configuration view) are additional +12v & +5v rails. Given this, not sure how this is impossible to say it is un/safe. Further, would be surprised to learn that the organization that specs the ATX connectors, would have made it possible to connect a 20 pin plug to a 24 pin socket, if not safe. |
