How to set default number formatting in Numbers? I already have the short format set how I want it, but Numbers appears to be using the "Medium" format. Indeed, mine looks like your screen shot! So I set "Short" and "Medium" both to YYYY-MM-DD, and now it's working -- thanks! |

MySQL: Tree-Hierarchical query I've struggled with hierarchies in MySQL, as well, and did a lot of research. There is a MySQL work-alike (maraiadb) that has a plug-in (OQGRAPH) that works like a memory engine for doing hierarchical queries. I played with it, but it seemed buggy -- their examples worked, but I couldn't get mine to. Let me know if you want more details. |

Using multiple A-records for my domain - do web browsers ever try more than one? Sorry, but I don't think that's how it works. Browsers have nothing to do with resolving IP addresses -- that happens in system software. If you provide multiple A records, you should assume that any given client will receive a random one from the list. |
