The AspectJ documentation is full of examples of more restrictive pointcut specifications. Have you read it?

comment Spring RestTemplate to POST request with Custom Headers and a Request Object
This doesn't answer the question at all. He's not asking how to debug a 400 error. He's asking how to set custom headers in RestTemplate.

comment How does one place a beat 'on' a given note/rest value?
@GregJackson note that the book quote doesn't use the word "beat", it uses the word "element". The questioner has used "beat" afterwards, but it seems from context that he means "note" or "sound" or "sample".

I'd go further and say that even if you're not working with a grid, you would use this language. "I'm going to put a kick drum on every beat, and I'm going to put a snare on the twos and fours" is something a live drummer might say (OK, I've said "put" not "place" but these are the same)

comment Why are pure tones depicted as sine waves?
"A sine wave and its corresponding cosine will cancel each other out." -- er, "sin(x) + cos(x) is not a flat graph", nor is "sin(x) - cos(x)"
