comment Knockout JS 2.0 Binding Parse Error in IE
Thanks a lot! My issue was with 'for'. So I changed data-bind="for: something" to data-bind="'for': something" and it fixed the IE8 binding issue.

That did it! I only had this problem when I added an existing, external project to my solution.

I was experiencing the same problem and removed the ninject's web.api reference just like you said. Now it works!

comment jquery ui dialog and our dearest friend, ie6
After researching the problem even further, the precise line of .ui-dialog CSS that was the problem was position: relative. Changed to position: absolute and ie6 becomes happy again.

Including the jquery-ui.dialog.css explicitly fixed it. I thought the .css was already defined in my linked jquery-ui-1.8.1.css, but maybe it's wonky or something. Anyway, thanks a bunch!

Thanks for quick response. This does scroll back to the opened dialog but the window still increases in size which creates a giant whitespace at the bottom. This solutions reacts to the problem and codes around, but it doesn't solve the problem.
