comment When is it appropriate to close a lore question as "not addressed directly through in-universe sources"?
This might be okay in theory, but in practice those 5 people voting to close aren't certain there is no answer. In some cases I've seen where this happens, some have admitted to not even having played the game in question. In a perfect world, closing questions in this way might work, but in the real one, this isn't how it's been happening. People are using this as a "sounds kinda speculative" close reason rather than a "I know it's not addressed" close reason.

The related ongoing meta discussion about such questions (unless I'm misunderstanding the reason this was closed)

comment Last of Us, why were there still infected 20 years later
I am unsure why this is closed. It's potentially a "poke the plot hole question" , and while those might be worthy of downvotes, they aren't automatically off-topic. The in-game lore might well address this issue or explain it.

comment How can I ensure that I cut my nemeses' heads off?
If it is, I haven't seen it as of Tier 3 (unless it's cleverly disguised).

comment At what point does it become "Developer intent"?
It is a thing that is in the game and you are curious about it. That's it exactly. It's in the game and people don't know if it's just not implemented, or if they haven't unlocked something, or have a bug, or what. The answer "It does nothing at the moment" is a perfectly valid answer that may not be obvious to everyone. I've voted to reopen.

comment Why the hate for the "context needed" questions list?
My main reason for voting to delete it is that it was a closed meta question that kept getting updated and bumped to the top of the active list. This was obscuring actual relevant topics. I would be okay with all [tag:fun] questions going away, so I didn't hate this one in particular over the rest. I'm also not on a crusade to get them, though. This one just earned a delete vote since it had already been closed.

comment Visual Studio 2013 context menus slow only in web application project
I've recompiled the solution hundreds of times by now, and that didn't do it. I checked the cache you mentioned and only saw about 20% of my NuGet packages in there, so I added the rest manually and restarted visual studio, then rebuilt. It didn't speed anything up though.
