I'm a hobby programmer. My real job is teaching English.
I tinkered with QuickBASIC as a kid, then TI-BASIC, Visual Basic, C++, and x86 assembler as a teenager. Nowadays I do mostly web-development and I've been learning Python and revisiting good ol' C++.
I use ArchLinux, Debian-based Maemo, and Windows 7. I spend a lot time improving my knowledge of Linux stuff and working out customizations to boost productivity.
My other hobbies include language-learning, freestyle footbag, bicycling, skateboarding, running, and literature, especially sci-fi. I find motor vehicles repulsive.
