I'm an B.Sc IT and at the same time Physics student, with minor in Astrophysics. My focus of interest is AI and ML, and for my future I hope to being able to combine AI with my other great field of interest: Astrophysics. I mainly code in Ruby (for work) & Java and I am a Smalltalk enthusiast (and for work I had to do a lot of nasty VBA hacking in Excel and Access). I use a lot of different OS, mainly a Gentoo Linux on my PC, and an OS X on a MacBook Air and iOS with an iPhone (though since now I only coded for Android). In my leisure time I read, listen to music, watch series and movies, and if I've got a lot of time I go Geocaching. I sympathize with the pirate- and hacker philosophy and I see myself as environmentalist. I blog (mainly in German though :/) and you can follow me on twitter.
