comment iOS app update notification
@G.Ganesh Change the version of your app in Xcode to a version that's less than the one in the App Store. If version 1.0.2 is in the App Store, then change the version of your app to 1.0.1 and build+run your app. If you see an alert, it works. You can now change the version back to whatever it is before you launch your app to the store.

I know that much :) I was just giving you some advice. What about commenting out the text-input line of code?

Once you fix it, you should still migrate away from NSURLConnection to NSURLSession.

comment JSON call in iOS not receives data but cannot Parse or Log it
Your JSON data is malformed. Try hitting another JSON endpoint, and my code should work.

That means you have no error deserializing. Do either of the JSON Dictionary or JSON Array NSLogs can printed?

comment iOS7 UIAlertView EXC_BAD_ACCESS when set UIAlertViewStylePlainTextInput
Change deployment to iOS 7. IOS 6+ has <4% adoption at this point. Next, try calling the alertView with the text-input code commented-out. Does it still not work?

comment Swift : '(NSObject, AnyObject)' does not have a member named 'subscript'
The nil coalescing operator: ?? is explained in detail in Apple's iBook. I can't seem to block-quote it in an SO comment, but here's a direct copy of what the book says: The nil coalescing operator (a ?? b) unwraps an optional a if it contains a value, or returns a default value b if a is nil. The expression a is always of an optional type. The expression b must match the type that is stored inside a. The nil coalescing operator is shorthand for the code below: a != nil ? a! : b

comment How to calculate the correct Text Color for status bar programmatically?
So, you essentially want us to write the main function of your app for you? There's nothing wrong with asking a question like this, but please provide code snippets showing us your attempts next time.

comment Parent View leaving space at top
Please provide the sample code for the ViewController. Without even looking at the code (that isn't provided), you may want to check your Status Bar style settings. I think the issue may be there.
