For the record, questions like "What's the best JavaScript unit testing framework?" -- and the associated discussions -- are useful to human beings. I think the 2012 trend in closing these sorts questions is unfortunate. There is little harm in having a forum for experts to discuss these.
Just because you can't unit test an opinion doesn't mean we should stop discussing these things. Furthermore, most of the value I get from Stack Overflow comes from this particular class of questions and answers.
