comment Core Data w/ a UIImage property - use a UIImage or NSData?
So actually, I just came across something that makes me wish I had gone with UIImage instead. I'm having a bug right now around scale factors, and it seems like when I create some NSData from the UIImage using the JPEG function, the scale factor is lost. I'm assuming that if I had persisted the UIImage that value would have been persisted somewhere. So now I'll either have to change the model (eh, the app has shipped, so would prefer to avoid that) or start saving the scale alongside it. Well, for next time!

comment How to populate an array from detailViewController and return to masterViewController in iOS?
In the scenario I outlined you'd want to call reloadData when the viewWillAppear or viewDidAppear methods. Try setting breakpoints to see when those are called.

comment iOS: Requiring the users to configure third-party RSS feeds
This question appears to be off-topic because it is about App Store policies and not programming.

Not a programming question, but it sounds like Apple thinks your app has limited functionality. You should contact developer support.

comment UICollectionView loading cell data in wrong places
It returns nil if the cell is not visible or out of range. You're really going to have to provide some code if you want more help with this!

Make sure that you're setting the image on the main thread.

comment UICollectionView loading cell data in wrong places
Absolutely. You should avoid putting any code in your cell subclasses at all. Think of MVC - View Controller dispatch between some model (in this case, the internet) and your views (the table view cells, the table view). The Views shouldn't be doing that work directly.
