comment TestFlight In-App Updates: Version Number vs Build Number
I think you just need to get past your "OCD". I used to think about it this way but Test Flight changed my line of thinking. So Version numbers are marketing facing (1, 1.1, 1.0.1, etc.) and builds are sequential. Don't fight the tools.

comment CoreData: error: Serious application error. Exception was caught during Core Data change processing
Voted down b/c you actually never want to do that with Core Data, and always pass around the MOC using the "pass the baton" approach that Apple recommends.

You should use Auto Layout, it is intended to solve many problems, this being one of them.

comment IPhone app is not compatible with IPad
Auto Layout would perhaps "fix the problem" if the problem is that layout is broken on the iPad. I'm not sure what the 3.5 problem is - are you not having luck running the app on a 3.5" iPhone either? I'd say that yes, you might want to look at Auto Layout then, because it helps make it easier to lay out UI across multiple device sizes.

Well I don't know what the problem is. You need to figure that out first.

comment Best way to wire up a PaintCode button?
@inorganik actually you can achieve resolution independence by not using 2x, 3x, etc. PNGs anymore and using PDFs instead. Fog is right, drawing code is slow (whether it comes from Paintcode or not), images are faster.

comment Core Data w/ a UIImage property - use a UIImage or NSData?
So actually, I just came across something that makes me wish I had gone with UIImage instead. I'm having a bug right now around scale factors, and it seems like when I create some NSData from the UIImage using the JPEG function, the scale factor is lost. I'm assuming that if I had persisted the UIImage that value would have been persisted somewhere. So now I'll either have to change the model (eh, the app has shipped, so would prefer to avoid that) or start saving the scale alongside it. Well, for next time!
