comment Russian and Japanese and biblatex oh my
Entirely wrong comment by @LeoLiu. Use babel with xetex as babel-russian is supported by native Russians in contrast to gloss-russian from polyglossia bundle. Use biblatex-gost with biblatex as it is also supported by native Russian librarian.

comment \MakeShortVerb{\§} and \usepackage[utf8]{inputenc}
I use ifxetex package` and \ifxetex ... \else ... \fi constract for almost all my documents to provide portability between pdflatex and xelatex and sililartly for lualatex. In MWE I just omit this portion of my code.

comment MiKTeX and Perl scripts (and one Python script)
I have installed ActivePerl but xindy still says C:\Program Files\Far Manager>xindy.exe --help xindy.exe: The script interpreter could not be found. xindy.exe: Data: scriptInterpreter="perl.exe"

This works with pdflatex but not with xelatex.

@cfr: Yes, I have changed actual encoding in source files, but as you see the error occurs in the preamble of the main file.

@honeste_vivere: please read a textbook before further flooding, e.g. MHD instabilities (Cambridge, Mass., MIT Press, 1978.) by G.Bateman, section 2.3.

comment Does a conservative form of the Chew-Goldberger-Low MHD equations exist?
@honeste_vivere: If partial time derivative of something is equated to a divergency of some flux, they say that the equation is written in a conservative form. In Kulsrud's papers, I found that energy of plasma in MHD is $W=\rho V^2/2+p_{\bot}+p_{\|}/2+B^2/(8\pi)$ but an expression for $\vec{S}$ in the equation $\partial_t W=-\textrm{div}\vec{S}$ is given only for isotropic plasmas, And yes, CGL MHD assumes infinite electric conductivity.

@Kyle Kanos: See original paper by Chew, G. F., Goldberger, M. L. & Low, F. E. 1956 Proc. Roy. Soc. A. 236, 112 or adaptation by Kulsrud: terpconnect.umd.edu/~hassam/761/notes/…

comment How to synchronise bar legends zeros for a set of DensityPlots?
@Quantum_Oli: Preferebly, I want to have different scales for different plots as I am afraid that with common scale figure a will look almost monochrome.
