Are you permitted to weigh Maror on Pesach night? @DoubleAA Many sephardim go by weight, even though the halacha is by volume, weight is easier to measure. And the shiurim given for weight is much more than a kzayit would be anyways of either matzah or marror. |

How do we meet Jews without the religious worship? May I interest you in moving to a country where most people you interact with are likely to be Jewish? |

If Hashem brought about Macos Bechoros by himself, with out any angel, then what is the משחית? I can't remember the details, but I once heard a dvar Torah saying that it wasn't that Gd, killed the first born himself, but rather that Gd prevented the Jewish first borns from being killed himself. When Gd releases a plague, both righteous and evil are killed together, but not so with the first born. |

What are the earliest sources of Oral Law irrespective of Jewish denomination like Kariate Samaritan etc There are a few halachot we seem to learn from the book. 1. "repent one day before your die" and 2. "If a man repents, one does not say to him, Remember your old ways." and I'm sure there are others. Even if the book was not halachic in nature, it seems to either reflect oral law, or have influenced it. |

Why was Cow so Important and prefered as sacrifice over other animals in Bani Israel? @JNF It's a good question to ask about how the Metzora and Yoledet relate to the poor. And what those two situations have to do with each other that they are placed next to eachother in the Torah and given the same sacrifice. But it's hard to explain it all in a comment. Our attitude as a society towards those cases and a poor person who offers are to be equated though. And there are other more superficial societal relationships as well. |

What are the earliest sources of Oral Law irrespective of Jewish denomination like Kariate Samaritan etc What is not factually accurate? It doesn't answer your presumed other question either. It corrects the assumption that nothing at all was allowed to be written before the mishna, which is the basis of the question. |

What are the earliest sources of Oral Law irrespective of Jewish denomination like Kariate Samaritan etc @Ali the point is, it wasn't really prohibted. We have many written things which predate the mishna, they just aren't a single collection. |

What are the earliest sources of Oral Law irrespective of Jewish denomination like Kariate Samaritan etc I didn't explain at all "why" oral law was prohibited. I'm not sure why you think I did. |
