I'm currently a software development manager at General Motors, supervising developers in Austin and Atlanta who are working on Java, .net, and LAMP projects.
I worked on OS/2 back in college and for a few years after - including writing some of the original objects in the Workplace Shell control panel.
I was one of three guys who ported the 1.1.x Java AWT from Windows to OS/2 - wrote a lot of the basic control code and got Unicode drawing on the screen in the 8-bit code-page environment we were stuck with at the time.
Wrote 3D graphics drivers at S3 for a few years; then banged on Java for years at a couple different companies, with some C# and C++ in there as well.
